The Gutter Adze is a thin arched blade set at right angle to the long handle. It is patterned after time-tested tools and is hand forged to the correct curve and sweep. It is useful to cut laterals on log work. The hand forging and modern steel lends it its remarkable toughness.
The tool is shipped with a long hard wood handle ground to fit. This is a beautiful adze to use.
This Gutter adze has a blade length of 7", overall length of 9" with approximately #6 sweep. It's the larger tool in the photo. Leather tip guard with tie-string included.
